SOD - Have you ever gotten in trouble for something you said in print?

Kim Zimmer - Yes, not that often because people have gotten used to me saying things that are bawdy and ridiculous. The one thing I did say was early, early on, I think when I was on The Doctors. I talked about A.C. and I, and the first time we ever really connected, which was when we were playing "Naked Name That Gun." It was in Michigan. Everybody would stand on top of the sand dunes and we'd run down naked because we had skinny-dipped, and somebody at the bottom would name a gun. We were actors; it was an acting exercise --- and we would react to the way we were being shot by that gun. So, I had "BB gun," and I had to react like I was being shot by a BB gun, and all of a sudden, someone tackled me and it was A.C. We had been playing games all that summer, and we knew that we were in love. But he had another girlfriend, I had a boyfriend. And he tackled me, naked, and I'm telling this in this interview, and they, of course, print the whole thing. My in-laws were appalled. It was their first experience with having something printed so blatantly. It wasn't so much my mother and father-in-law as it was my husband's grannies. It was the first time I ever went, "Oh man, did I cross the line a little," because...the fact that we were naked before we were married was a little risque.
