| SOD - How is this nomination different?
Kim - "They are all equally as wonderful. This one is really nice because as you get older, you start thinking that maybe these things won't happen anymore. It did, and it's great." SOD - Is the pressure off because you've won before? Kim - "NO! If you are going to put yourself up to be nominated, you better hope you have a chance of winning. There is no pressure, certainly, but it is always nice [to win]. But I have never been able to accept an Emmy on the stage of Radio City. That would be a trip to do before I am too old to get up there [laughs]." SOD - Your reactions to the Best Show nomination? Kim - "I'm more excited [about that]. I am more hopeful that we all get to go up there as a group and accept for Best Show. That would mean a whole lot to a lot of people." SOD - What's on your reel? Kim - "Two scenes in the hospital after Shayne's accident. It goes through a lot of emotional swings. Reva hates [Josh], then she loves him, then she needs him, then she doesn't need him. Those were two scenes recommended by a wonderful man, David [Brandon, associate producer]." SOD - David helped all of the GL nominees. Kim - "He is the one we are all going to blame or buy a crate of champagne for." |
