11/4/96 - Kim Zimmer SOD Chat
PIC6B: Kim, it's great having you back on GL!

Kim: Cool! I guess I should start by saying God bless our fans! We need each and every one of you. I'm thrilled to be back home, not only on GL, but back on the East Coast.

Applique2: Can I still get the Reva video?

Kim: As far as the Reva video goes, we've had many requests and I think it will be re-released somewhere around Christmas time.

LSR 225: Kim, when are you and Robert getting together on the show?

Kim: Reva and Josh will be returning to Cross Creek very shortly. We know what happens when these two go to the Creek...Stay Tuned!

CRYSTALCLB: I have fond memories of you on Santa Barbara...you did a great job on the show!

Kim: I had a great time being with the actors at SB. However, it was discouraging to be on a show that the producers had already given up on.

GBecker396
: Kim, who is your favorite leading man?

Kim: I have had so many leading men, LOL! And honest to God, they have all been favorites at the time but I think my all-time favorite is someone I miss a great deal right now and that would be Larry Gates (HB Lewis).

Raininfire: What is your most memorable scene?

Kim: The most memorable scene to the fans seems to be the fountain scene when Josh was in his wheelchair but I would have to say that most recently it was the scenes I had with Robert Newman when Reva and Josh were desperately trying to tell each other how much they still loved each other.

BSuzie: Kim, was the show very different when you came back?

Kim: There have obviously been many cast changes but most have been for the good of what is now the "Light" and I hope we keep this cast for a very long time.

Estood9733: Kim, you and Robert do the foxtrot really well.

Kim: LOL! Thank You! Robert hates to dance, you couldn't tell though.

Itsbarb4: How is Larry Gates doing?

Kim: I'm sad to say Larry Gates is not well and will not be returning to the show. But he's always been very appreciative of the support and love you have all shown him. And now I'm going to cry.

MichelleMP: Kim, will you be in Hudson anytime soon?

Kim: Hudson, Ohio! We will probably be there for Thanksgiving, who are you and where do you live?

MichelleMP: I live in Stow and would like to meet you!

BBrookhart: Kim, how long have you been with GL total?

Kim: I was on GL for seven years, left for five and been back for one.

LSR225: Kim when are they going to bring back your brother and sister on the show? Also, what about Dylan?

Kim: You will be seeing Sarah Shayne and Rusty for sure. Unfortunately, Roxie's still in the loony bin. Hopefully she'll run into Vanessa in Switzerland, LOL. As far as Dylan goes, I hope that I will be having more than off-camera phone conversations and I know that Melissa Hayden would love to have Morgan come back.

CHIEFKCJOE: Kim, what about Ron Raines (Alan), was there a chemistry there or what?!

Kim: I love working with Ron Raines and I'm hoping that if Alan can't walk they will get Reva to make him walk again, like she did for Josh!

Czar673366: I think you and Josh are great together.

Kim: Finally the writers have burned it into their fingertips that the fans won't put up with the Josh/Reva separation any longer.

Melkati: Kim, Do you like working with Justin Deas?

Kim: Justin Deas is one of those truly unique individuals. I never know what he might do next in a scene and I love that in him!

Vonderful2: No way that we want Josh and Reva back together.

Kim: I will respond to the fans of Reva and Buzz and say that if they do split us up, hopefully it will be because someone from Buzz's past will return for the 60th Anniversary. We'll let you guys speculate. :)

(This was followed by a swarm of Jeva fans saying "Josh and Reva" not "Buzz and Reva".)

El Madonna: You got it guys...JEVA FOREVER!!

Kim: I love the Jeva thing!

TELXL: Who is Zachary supposed to be? They said he was supposed to be familiar.

Kim: The Zachary mystery will develop with the 60th Anniversary celebration.

Raininfire: Kim, you did a great job on Designing Women as a victim of domestic abuse.

Kim: The Designing Women episodes happened because the creator, Linda Bloodworth, was a big fan of the show and wrote that episode for me, which was a thrill just to be with those crazy ladies.

Applique2: Kim, will there be a 60th Anniversary book?

Kim: Yes, there will be a 60th Anniversary book.

CHIEFCKJOE: Kim, if you don't mind me asking, how long is your current GL contract for?

Kim: I've got another two years left on my contract. Thank you all for your questions and interest, I'm going to go have a glass of wine now. Cheers! Love ya!
