| SODLive: Well guys, Kim Zimmer has arrived...We'll be getting to her questions now. :) Kim: Hi everyone and thanks for waiting. I was forgetting my lines today... Chessie: What is your secret for crying for the camera? Kim: Pulling my nosehairs...just kidding. If you were as miserable as Reva is, you'd cry too. LC: First of all, Kim, you are a wonderful actress! Now, will Reva and Josh get together in this year? Kim: I would certainly hope that by the end of '97, Reva and Josh will be together. I'd hate to see us in wheelchairs before that event. Atwtglfan: Doesn't Reva need to get a job? Kim: I have been pushing for Reva to be employed somewhere since I arrived back...and be independent of the many men in her life. TGaschler: I have loved your portrayal of Reva for a long time. I really loved the storyline where you weren't sure if Kyle Sampson or Josh was Marah's father. Have you heard from or seen Larkin Malloy? Kim: The last time I was with Larkin was at the 1995 Emmy Awards and I haven't been in touch since but thanks for reminding me I need to call him. j55e7: So..about the "Slut of Springfield" outfit. Who picks it? Do you get a say in which daring little red frock you want? Kim: I tried on every slutty red dress in NYC and that was the most tasteful of them all! Rayle3236: Kim, do you socialize with Robert Newman and his family off of the set? Kim: As a matter of fact, Robert and his lovely family joined ours to ring in the new year and the first day of 1997. Chessie: You are fantastic! Any chance we will see you anywhere soon besides GL? Kim: Plans are in the works for a club act possibly at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas by the summer of '97. Crabbymom: Please tell us that it isn't going to be ANNIE as your sibling...do you think that is the direction their going in?? Kim: I have let my feelings be known as to how I feel about Annie being my long lost sister and that's as far as I'll go. JBush8077: Kim, who are your buddies at GL? Kim: It was great having Beth Ehlers back, she's a buddy, and Jordan Clarke...and Mikey O is a good friend...and these are people I do hang with. Epaton: Do you like your hair style for the Cedars Ball? Kim: The first time you saw Reva walk down the steps of her house was taped on a different day and the hair was AWFUL! But by the next day, we tamed it down a bit...and it was better. AsilBG: Hi Kim, this is Lisa Gault, how are you doing? Is the weather in New York as bad as it's been here in the D.C. metro area? Kim: Hi Lisa! I was just in my dressing room reading your two Friday letters as always, I loved them and look forward to hearing from you. As far as the weather...it's not too bad today. AGurr2667: Do you remember your first scene on GL? I think, if I remember well, that you were in some kind of a spa getting a massage. Didn't you have a towel on your head? I'm only 29 and my mom was watching at the time. But I think I remember. Is that right? Kim: Yes, that's absolutely right. I have never been so greasy in my life! Blossrulz: What's it like having your husband direct your work? Kim: So far, I haven't had to do any hot steamy sex scenes while A.C. was directing, but I'm sure the day will come...and we'll meet it head on. Jenafa27: What will Reva do if Annie turns out to be her sister? Kim: Go back to the bridge in Florida and drive off AGAIN! LOL! MarcEditor: Kim, what's the hardest aspect of portraying Reva Shayne (Lewis Cooper)? Thanks! Kim: Well, lately, it's been difficult dealing with the fact that she's lost her sense of independence and seems to be totally dependent on the kindness of people she doesn't really even know! Bring back the independent fun loving Reva and I'll be happy. :) Susan 1016: Will Reva ever confide in Josh about the new sibling? If so, will Josh help Reva locate her? Kim: At this point, I don't think she could because she knows she can't interfere in Josh and Annie's life right now, but once the baby's born, things will change.... Rayle3236: How do you like Paul Rauch, do you think he will be good for the show? Do you like the changes he has made? Kim: I was thrilled with the news that Paul would be here with us. If anyone can make a difference it's the combination of Paul Rauch, and Mickey Dwyer-Dobbin. How's that for saving my job? :) Susan: Kim, how did you enjoy working with the cast of SEINFELD? It must have been a blast! Kim: They're a wonderfully talented and fun group of people and just as crazy off set as on and Jerry is incredibly supportive of any of his guest stars and encourages the best you can possibly give. RaRasis: I have met you on a couple of occasions and think you are one terrific person and actress! How much of Reva is you? Kim: I haven't been married to every male member of one family, I've been with my husband for 21 years, so we're not alike in that regard, but we do share a zest for life and laughter. N2soaps: Why do you always wear red when you want to be bad? Kim: Designers choice, not mine. :) CGREENPA: I saw a picture of your beautiful family on vacation in SOD. What do your kids think of "Reva"? Kim: My kids don't watch, but their friends do and so they find out everything I don't want them to know...from their friends. Oh well, LOL. GLRENT16: What is your favorite Reva storyline aside from Josh? Kim: It would have to be anything having to do with Larry Gates in the wonderful role of HB Lewis. SligoAdic: I would really like to see you back with Billy instead of Josh. Any chance? Kim: I think Billy's definitely big enough to handle Reva and has just as big a mouth. KJohnbo: If you didn't have this job working with all these cute guys...what would you be doing? Kim: When I thought about what I'd do before I decided to be an actress, which was when I was about 6 years old, was that I wanted to be a vet...dealing with not cute guys but cute puppies. RN CASP: Who do you have the most fun working with? Kim: Since Reva/Josh and Annie's stuff has been so heavy I look forward to scenes with anyone but them. :) Aliyah278: I am a big fan of yours and I wanted to know, do like working with Josh and Annie? Kim: I love Robert and Cynthia, it's Annie and Josh I'm having a problem with! LOL! RAndr9535: How do you like working with Justin? I've always thought he added so much to the show! Kim: I don't think there's a person in our cast who wouldn't give their eye teeth to work with Justin. He is an incredibly giving performer with great heart and soul. TP39: I'm so glad you're back on GL. I'm from the Tulsa area, have you ever been there? Kim: No, I haven't been to Tulsa but I have been to Oklahoma City. Atwtglfan: Can you tell us what scene you were doing so we'll know when it's on the air? Kim: Today Buzz and Reva go to Mrs. Dwight's house, who is supposedly the woman who adopted Sarah's baby girl. It airs the 31st. Jenafa27: We love you Kim! Do you have a fan club? Kim: I don't have a personal fan club, but you can write to me via the GL fan club or at 51 W. 52nd St., New York, NY 10019, care of CBS. RaRasis: Do you get to keep all those red dresses? Kim: Would you keep those red dresses? They're yours! RynoWay: Who would you like to be with that you have not been with? I know you have been with almost everyone so it may be hard to pick one. Kim: Think about this - Who is the only Lewis man Reva hasn't been with? Tee Hee! HLBrown59: What do you do to stay in such GOOD shape? You look great! Kim: It's a constant battle to stay in shape the older you get...But, I do try to get to the gym for cross training four times a week. It's the dieting I have trouble with PghParrot: Kim, how is it that everyone in Springfield just happens to have a long formal gown to wear (eg, Harley) at all times? Even Eleni said she had nothing and turned up in that gorgeous gown! Kim: Believe me, we all asked ourselves that very same question. Gopor: After being married to all 3 Lewises you should have compensation from all of them, LOL. Kim: Absolutely! Then I could forget about all of them. Tee Hee. CGRIZZS: You're great Kim. Did Reva know she was driving off the bridge? Kim: I knew. But I don't think Reva did. Otherwise, I don't think she would've done it. RARasis: Are a lot of the scence with Buzz improvised? You guys do a fantastic job together! Kim: The dialogue itself is not improvised, but the attack on the way the scenes are played change from moment to moment so you never know what is going to happen next. It's fun. Susan: How hard was it for Reva to turn Josh away at her front door? It has been a while for the both of you, YOU MUST BE DYING BY NOW! Kim: It's not much of a lifestyle change once you've been Amish... Julsee: Would you like to work with Amy more? They have kind of forgotten the Reva/Abby connection. Kim: I think Amy Ecklund is one of the most incredibly talented actresses I've worked with. And I would love to know that we will be working together again very soon. Chessie: Kim, what would Reva do if she won the Lottery? What would her first purchase be? Kim: She'd go out and buy herself another RED DRESS! GldLvr: How many children do you have and do you enjoy being a mother like I do? Do you do all the mothering things like bake the cookies and all. Kim: I have three beautiful children, Rachel (14), Max (9), and Jake (6) and they beg me not to cook! JZieg8169: Kim, do you do fan tours and if so when will you come to North Florida? Kim: It depends on where and how much time I have to do them...but North Florida sounds fabulous right about now. TEREZZ: Did you film a beach scene a few years ago with Robert in Hilton Head, SC or Savannah, GA? Kim: It was an unseasonably cold three days on Hilton Head Island, SC. Sweeti846: Will you ever move out of Alan's house? Kim: I hate that house! I want to sell it and get Holly and Fletcher out of RevaBend! :) RynoWay: Will we see a cat fight with you and Annie someday? Kim: It's something to look forward to, but not while she's pregnant. Julsee: Do you know if they will have a memorial for Mr. Gates as HB on air? I hope so. Kim: From what I understand, they want to make sure a HB memorial will be worthy of the actor that Larry Gates was, so they're taking their time figuring out the best possible way to handle this heartbreaking situation. Kimber196: Who would you like to see join the cast of GL and why? Kim: Mel Gibson, Sean Connery, Leonardo DiCaprio, I could go on... :) All to be Lewis men. Vlvt Voice: Kim are you and Justin going to have scenes together even though your characters are splitting up? I love the two of you together. Kim: I know that Buzz will continue to do the honorable thing by keeping his promise to help Reva find her half-sister, so I know that Kim has a few good scenes left with Justin. DRFINI: I really want to see you and Josh get back together, but I would love to see you kick up your heels and cause some trouble. Do you see yourself single for a while? Kim: I know that the fans are pulling for a Josh/Reva reconciliation, but it would be fun to explore the independence of Reva for a while and it would also be fun having her try to find a job! T NERAK: Who is a better dancer Billy (Jordan) or Josh(Robert)? Kim: After dancing the tango with Jordan Clarke I would definitely have to say that Billy has it over ALL of the men of Springfield! Wouldn't you agree? MaDKiSs: Kim, of the actors that have left the show, who would you like to return? Kim: Strictly from a selfish point of view, I would love to see them rebuild the Shayne family meaning Rusty, Roxie and whoever else Mama sired! LOL! Sivadpd: Do you like living in New York better than California? Kim: NY has it ALL over California. Semper101: Is Reva ever going to get a good friend. Female? Kim: Reva has never had a really good female friend. It would be fun to explore Jenna as a possible option. Birdetolm: How do you like working with Jenna? Kim: She's such a classy broad. Dolfin: Kim, did you know that you and Josh are known to your fans as JEVA? Kim: The first time I was online I didn't know what "Jeva" was until it was explained to me. And I think it's great! SUNPSYCH3: Would you like to see Morgan Englund return as Dylan for good? Kim: I would love to see Dylan return to the arms of his Mama, he's so darn cute. :) KP: Do you see yourself ever becoming one of the matriarchs on GL in the next century? Wearing a red dress, of course? Kim: AH YES! I can see her now, rocking away on the front stoop of RevaBend in a glittering low cut RED housedress! LOL!
