| After ten years together, Kim Zimmer and A.C. Weary are also thriving domestically. "Right now we're fixing up our house," reports A.C. "I'm doing all the painting because Kim is a little sloppy. Whenever she paints, you need to follow her around with a can of turpentine cleaning everything up." Do they ever get on each others nerves? Sure --- what husband and wife don't? "Kim collects things in her purse," laughs A.C. "She'll put bills in there and forget to pay them for months. And strange things happen when she's driving the car. It's not unusual for Kim to come home with two bent tire rims and not know why!" Kim is a real shopaholic, which drives A.C. up the wall. "I cut up all her credit cards once," he admits, "because after working two years on a soap (The Doctors), she had absolutely no money saved. Shoes are her worst addiction. She has enough pairs to outfit the Rockettes. I once lined up all her shoes --- they practically stretched across the apartment --- just to show her how out of hand things were getting." Doesn't A.C. have some faults too? "Plenty. Kim moans that I muck up the bathroom," he laughs. "She claims I'm always getting the bathroom carpet wet when I shower. She has to keep running in after me to towel dry the walls and floor!" Nevertheless, wet floors and dented tire rims don't' spoil the love they share. "In ten years, we've been through the best of times and the worst of times," says A.C. "I guess we're a case of opposites attracting, but we really love and understand each other. We can survive anything!" |
